I tried hard to read through it and formulate an appropriate response. But, blaming all men for being misogynists for the actions of a crazy person is not appropriate. I agree it was awful. This kind of angle is aiming at their own agenda and completely opposite of what I expect on Oppo.

I'm not 100% certain the author and the gawker commenter "nofancypicture" are the same person, but they at least share the same passion on the topic.
Not sure why KoenigSTIG was particularly targeted, but this person seems to be a self-proclaimed "culture warrior", so it's probably safe to assume KoenigSTIG pissed "nofancypicture" off somehow.

I'll just say I appreciate every rec I get. I don't blame you. Politics are so out of line with my own beliefs I can't even describe my own position. I guess I would say we should be free to do whatever we want, as long as it doesn't interferes with others choices. Everything beyond that gets so complicated so quickly, it falls out of my ability to have a rational response.
